Looking for a refreshing twist on classic iced tea? This Fig & Honey Iced Tea combines the rich, fruity depth of Sticky Balsamic Premium Fig with the natural sweetness of honey and aromatic thyme. It's the perfect sophisticated mocktail for warm afternoons, garden parties, or when you want something special that's completely alcohol-free.

The secret ingredient? A teaspoon of Sticky Balsamic Premium Fig that transforms ordinary iced tea into a gourmet beverage experience. The balsamic adds complexity and a subtle tang that beautifully balances the honey's sweetness, while the fig notes complement the black tea's natural earthiness.

Fig & Honey Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250ml/8.45oz) brewed black tea, chilled

  • 1 tsp honey, adjust to taste

  • 1 tsp Sticky Balsamic Premium Fig

  • 1 fresh thyme sprig

  • Ice cubes

  • fresh fig slices, for garnish (optional)

  • lemon wheel, for extra citrus notes (optional)

Directions

  1. Brew a strong cup of black tea using your favorite variety. Allow it to steep for 4-5 minutes for maximum flavour, then chill completely in the refrigerator (at least 2 hours) or use the quick-chill method by pouring over ice.

  2. In a tall glass, combine the chilled black tea, honey, and Sticky Balsamic Premium Fig. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.

  3. Gently bruise the thyme sprig between your fingers to release its essential oils, then add it to the glass.

  4. Fill your glass with ice cubes and stir gently. Garnish with a fresh thyme sprig and, if desired, a slice of fresh fig or a lemon wheel.

  5. Sip slowly and savor the layers of flavour.
